We meet at Sörvigge 122 for the tour. My house is the one at the end of the road, the one you see in the picture below. Park on the right, somewhere near the carport.
Tour Plan
- Arraving at the kennel: A brief overview of your stay - Safety instruction: We go through the safety instructions and what to think of when you sit on the sled. - Prepare the dogs: Together we will harness the dogs and prepare the sled for the tour. - Dogsled tour: Off we go on a beautiful tour through a white landscape. During the tour there is plenty of time to take pictures and learn more about the dogs.
- Take care of the dogs: After the tour we unharness the dogs, thank them for the amazing job they've done with cuddles, time for more pictures, and then we bring them back to their kennels. - The end: We end the tour with homemade Swedish fika and warm blackcurrant juice by the bonfire.

Clothing:
To make the most of your dog sledding tour, good clothing is absolutely essential.
The key to staying warm is layering. The recommendation below is for very cold temperature but it's better to be prepared!
What to wear on your dog sledding tour
– Base layer – thermal underwear, both long-johns as well as long-sleeved shirt to soak up sweat while keeping you warm
– Mid layer – your insulating layer which will retain your body heat
– Outer layer – your shell which will shield you from wind and snow
– Woollen socks, hat and neck warmer
– Insulated gloves
– Good quality insulated boots made out of waterproof materials
– Goggles or sunglasses (I have goggles you can borrow)
So for example: Thermals top and bottom, thick woollen socks, a woollen jumper, mid weight insulating trousers, an insulating jacket, waterproof and breathable jacket and trousers, a hat, gloves and a scarf.
Insurance: We advise you to take out your own personal insurance which should include a cancellation policy, in case the weather does cause a problem. Subsequently, if you wear expensive clothing or bring expensive equipment, we advise you to take out a policy which will cover any accidental damage or loss.
